In Design: Alto's core engine (capture, completeness-checking, chasing, quality assurance) runs today. The MDT-specific pieces (minimum-dataset checks, cross-site chase, outcome routing) are being built with our first MDT partners.

FOR MDT SERVICES

The costliest case is the one that never reached the worklist.

Alto assembles, checks and chases each referral to an MDT-ready standard before the meeting, and routes the outcome back after. Your team makes every clinical decision.

The Failure

The failure that matters most is the one no one sees.

This is not a competence problem. It is what happens when the whole meeting depends on one or two people checking and chasing every referral by hand, against a weekly deadline.

Missed entirely

A referral sitting in a shared inbox over a leave period never makes the worklist, and no one knows until it surfaces downstream.

Hours per meeting

Research on cancer MDTs suggests preparation runs to several hours per meeting, and it stops when the coordinator is off.

A week per deferral

Incomplete cases are deferred to next week, and research suggests a cancer pathway loses roughly a week each time.

How Alto Works

The pathway we are building with founding MDT partners: one flow, referral arriving to outcome routed.

The Assistant checks and chases. Each case is checked against your minimum dataset and the referring site chased until complete.

1

The Assistant assembles and surfaces. A structured case package, a worklist ordered by completeness, and flags on any patient at risk of missing the meeting.

2

3

4

The Judge checks the output and flags anything low-confidence for a person.

Your Team decides. Alto does not grade, recommend or decide; it organises information so clinicians work from a complete picture.

The Assistant captures and acknowledges. Each referral is read, logged and acknowledged, so nothing sits unseen.

5

Why Alto, not a generic intake tool.

Most intake tools extract text and stop. Alto adds the Judge: a second layer that checks the Assistant's work and flags anything uncertain. That is the difference between automating a task and running a process you can stand over in a cancer pathway, whether or not your coordinator is in.

A visible deferral can be recovered next week. A case never logged is found later, in a complaint or a review.

WHAT CHANGES

What changes when Alto runs the worklist

TODAY

A referral can sit unseen in a shared inbox and never reach the meeting.

WITH ALTO

No patient missed. Every referral logged, tracked and visible from arrival.

TODAY

The meeting opens with gaps: incomplete cases deferred to next week.

WITH ALTO

The meeting is spent on patients, not gaps. Cases arrive complete, checked against your minimum dataset.

TODAY

Deferrals cost pathway weeks, and nobody can see who is at risk of a target.

WITH ALTO

Fewer weeks lost in the pathway, and the view of who is nearing their targets is being built with founding partners.

TODAY

The coordinator's week disappears into checking and chasing, and stops when they're off.

WITH ALTO

The chasing runs in the background. Your coordinator's week goes to judgement calls, not the phone.

FOUNDING PARTNERS

Shape the MDT configuration with us.

We are building Alto's MDT pathway with a small number of founding services: early access, a configuration built around your minimum dataset, referring sites and workflow, and a direct hand in what we build next. We start by mapping one MDT pathway together.
